Pennywise has been supporting Agua Para la Vida (APLV) in Nicaragua since 2014. APLV partners with community residents and municipal governments to build gravity based water systems that provide clean water in some of the country’s most remote and underserved areas. Some of these communities were cut off from their water, once again, when these life saving  systems were damaged by the floods.

APLV turned to Pennywise for support so that they could access hard hit areas and help those those communities make necessary repairs to their water systems. We were delighted to be able to offer this critical funding to allow them to do just that. Assessments have been completed and repairs to at least four systems will begin in early 2018.
