"Donate a computer" was born out of the need for digital inclusion and equal quality education for every child in North Macedonia. They collect, repair, and donate used computers to children from marginalized communities. The model depends on collecting discarded IT equipment from a large number of companies and households, reusing workable parts and taking what cannot be used to a company that works with electronic waste, thereby reducing the amount of waste that ends up in a landfill.
Pennywise is proud to support this grassroots initiative that is recycling, repurposing and conserving resources to create opportunities in underserved communities.
