HAPPY EARTH DAY

Today, as people March for Science all across the country in an unprecedented show of solidarity against proposed budget cuts and political appointments, Pennywise is taking action by announcing our newest grantee: Power Shift Network.

Power Shift is an organization led by young people that works to leverage the energy of other young people who are developing strategies to address the global climate crisis. By creating mechanisms for collaboration, sharing resources and engaging in innovative planning for the future the Power Shift Network will increase the impact of all its partners. This innovative work- led by the generation that will suffer the greatest near term consequences of climate change denial- is inspiring and reflects the type of collaborative approach that is a Pennywise priority.  

We applaud Power Shift, those marching for science today and the scientists who work every day to develop evidence based solutions to address the unprecedented threats confronting our planet.
